So why is America so terrible with our sleep patterns???
The problem is, we all want to be happier, but we don’t want to do the things that put us in a position to be happier.
Getting 7-8 hours of good sleep is universally recognized as one of the most if not THE MOST important factors to being healthy and happy.
But it’s not just about sleeping longer. It’s about getting better quality sleep
So, here’s simple ways to sleep better:
1. Don’t drink alcohol late and drink less overall
2. Don’t eat sugar late and eat less overall
3. Cut off caffeine after 2:00pm and less overall
4. Less smoking (all forms of smoking)
5. Take natural supplements like magnesium
I love beer, bourbon, coffee, late night snacks, and smoking hookah, but guess what,
I’ve set rules around my consumption of these because I HAVE GOT to sleep better so I can be happier.

Make some small, simple choices that you live by regularly and it will happen over time!
And go to bed earlier!!
