We often think that no one understands

I do this more than most

Blame it on my Enneagram number (4), or my upbringing, or whatever you like

but I think it’s just human.

It’s part of being human to feel isolated and alone with our most personal feelings.

It feels like no one else gets it,

my situation is different

they wouldn’t care even if they did get it

WE CANNOT GIVE IN TO THE LIE THAT WE ARE ALONE

Whatever you feel at the deepest part of your core,

Someone else is feeling right now

Someone close to you is waiting for someone else to say they get it too.

We think we are all alone in our struggles, doubts, questions, fears, etc.

but the truth is

whatever is most personal

is most universal
